Under what conditions do MTBF and MTTR values change?

I have an efficient system operating in automatic mode. However, I’ve noticed that the MTBF and MTTR values consistently appear as 0. What exactly do these values represent in my system?

MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) values being 0 indicates that no failure events have been recorded during the system’s operation.

• MTBF: Measures the average time between consecutive failures.
• MTTR: Measures the average time required to repair a failure.

Both values being 0 means your system is running continuously without any recorded breakdowns, and therefore, no downtime caused by failures has occurred.
